Rides in 2012
Once again this year team Ripcor will be tearing up the tarmac across the UK and Europe. Our regular Sunday morning rides will be departing Chez Rippers around 7.00am heading out to Twyford, Sunningdale (the Fatscot) or Henley covering anything from 30 - 70 miles depending largely on the night before. If you are interested in being kept up to date with planned rides please get in touch with us. Other rides in 2012 featuring the odd Ripcor rider or two are detailed below, and new ones will be added as we sign up for them.

2 days, 180 miles, 2,500 riders, 1 iconic city. Join the cycling revolution and celebrate an incredible year for the capital. 2 days of scenic, iconic and history filled riding right around the capital. The ride is split over 2 days. Day 1 takes riders along 100 miles of scenic back roads North then West from the Isle of Dogs round to Royal Windsor before arriving at our overnight camp and party. Here riders doing the full 2 days will enjoy a cracking night of music, bars, dinner and a few other secret cycling attractions we have up our sleeves before setting off the next morning to ride South and East for another 80 miles before crossing Tower Bridge to finish on Sunday afternoon.

Reigate Sunday Sportive July 1st
With course running out east from it's Reigate College start, this is a treat of a ride, flowing from the North Downs out towards Kent Weald around Sevenoaks and Hever Castle. It's a nicely paced and balanced route covering 100+ miles, which eases you into your day with it's early miles providing a perfect leg stretcher, before delivering you into a deceptively hilly mid section that set's the biggest of the day's challenges. From there, it's a long and fast run to the finish back through the heart of some truly stunning countryside.

Viva Espana Cycle Challenge September 23rd-28th
This year we will be setting out from Bilao and following the foothills of the Pyrenees all the way from coast to coast to Barcelona. A mere 500 miles in 5 days, with a few hills thrown in for good measure. So lets hope we can get loads of sponsorship to make all the effort worthwhile. www.thepacecentre.org/cycle.html
